Raikkonen Becoma A Winner in Spa (again)

Spa Francorchamps circuit belongs to Kimi Raikkonen again. After winning in 2004, 2005 and 2007, The Iceman back again managed to reach the Belgian Grand Prix this year. This victory also becomes a prime for Raikkonen since the Spanish Grand Prix, April 2008.

Another note, this is Ferrari's first victory for the 2009 season. Naturally, if later the Ferrari crews appear eager to sing the Italian national anthem when Raikkonen was in the highest podium.

The road Racing

Start begins, Giancarlo Fisichella managed to keep his position as the holder of the first position. Was behind a Toyota driver, Jarno Trulli. But the two positions occupied by Trulli did not last long.

Safety car lasted only four laps. Then, Raikkonen raced to get past Fisichella and achieve a leadership position. While Trulli who finally had to enter the pit, fell to 14th position.

Eleven laps left, Raikkonen managed to maintain his lead over Fisichella. Finnish driver was superior to two seconds over his nearest rival it. While behind Fisichella, Kubica who was 1.7 seconds adrift.

Up to ten laps before the end of the race, Raikkonen and Fisichella still continue to compete. This time Fisichella managed to cut the margin back to Raikkonen's time, to be 0.6 seconds.

Raikkonen finally came out as champion with Fisichella was runner-up. Behind them finish in a row Vettel, Kubica and Heidfeld.
