Rest In Peace, Tahir Djide

Bandung - Indonesia lost one of the best figures from the world badminton. The former national coach who gave birth to many great players of the world, Tahir Djide, died of cancer in the liver.

Tahir last breath at the Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS), Bandung, on Friday (4/8/2009) at 3:15 pm. He died at the age of 70 years, leaving a wife and two children. Explained that Tahir, who is also Professor of the Graduate UPI Bandung, had been undergoing intensive treatment from 3 to 22 August at RSHS. Then, he went back into hospital on Tuesday (1 / 9) until they meet the Creator.

Drs. M. Tahir Djide is a great physical trainer who has worked as a coach since 1971. From his birth he Sidrap, South Sulawesi, was born big players like Rudy Hartono, Tjuntjun / Johan Wahyudi, Christian / Ade Chandra, Icuk Sugiarto, Liem Swie King to Bernadus Wiranata Ardy, Ricky Subagja and Taufik Hidayat.
