US Open - Serena, Mauresmo and Clijsters Keep Walking

Serena Williams began to defend his title at the U.S. Open with easy victory. While Mauresmo Ameilie also stepped smoothly into the second round of this Grand Slam tournament.

Serena is targeting a third grand slam title this year, successfully overcome the Alexa Glatch 6-4 6-1, Tuesday (1/9/2009) morning pm. U.S. tennis player second seed needed just one hour and two minutes of beating Glatch.

Ameilie Mauresmo also had no difficulty in the second round advance to the U.S. Open. French tennis player of the 17th seed beat German is Tatjana straight sets 6-3 6-4.

Seventh seed Vera Zvonareva also into the next round after overcoming Nuria Llagostera Vives 6-0 6-4. While tennis Taiwan Chang Kai-chen surprise after defeating 25th seed to kaia Kanepi 6-0 2-6 6-2.
